2007 Marks Record Growth for ZoomInfo with Increased Profitability, Larger Customer Base and Strong Website Traffic
Business Information Search Engine Enters 2008 with Expanded Business Model for Continued Growth
February 13, 2008 - Waltham, Mass. – ZoomInfo™, an online business information search engine, announced today that it has posted record sales and profits for 2007. ZoomInfo's 2007 sales exceeded $16 million, representing a 32% increase over 2006. Also in 2007, ZoomInfo.com's traffic spiked 70% to 5 million unique visitors conducting 14 million searches each month. According to Nielson/NetRatings, in April ZoomInfo was the fastest growing network in the country with 276% annual growth.
As part of ZoomInfo's planned growth, the company focused on diversifying its revenue base across the recruiting, sales intelligence, and online business advertising markets. ZoomInfo launched two sales and marketing intelligence offerings, PowerSell for enterprise customers and ZoomExec for individual sales people, and optimized its advertising monetization with the re-launch of ZoomInfo.com. As a result, ZoomInfo's advertising sales grew 283% and the company increased its customer base to 2,500 companies, including 30 percent of the Fortune 100, 20 percent of the Fortune 500 and the top 20 executive recruiting firms.

In 2007, ZoomInfo also continued to expand its business information index. The company now updates its information every night and crawls 1 billion pages every 3 months. Every month, the company adds more than 40,000 new user-created profiles in addition to the more than 500,000 profiles of new people generated automatically by its technology. As a result, ZoomInfo has broadened its coverage to include more than 40 million professionals and 3.7 million companies.

During the year, ZoomInfo signed a strategic partnership with Xing designed to integrate ZoomInfo's business information into Xing's business networking platform. The company also announced a dedicated developer zone to provide several tools for developers to create applications that leverage ZoomInfo's semantic search capabilities and people and company content.
