ZoomInfo’s Products/Services ZoomInfo is a business information search engine. What information does Zoom Information use to create its Public Profiles? ZoomInfo is a business information search engine that scans web sites and gathers information it finds about people and companies. This information is gathered from the same publicly available web sources that are searched by other major public search engines and accessible to any person surfing the web. Once we have collected information about a person or company, we combine multiple mentions of the same person or company into an individual Public Profile. The resulting Public Profiles are then made available to the public through the ZoomInfo service. Additionally, ZoomInfo allows users to create and/or update their own Public Profile. Any information provided by a user to be part of his or her Public Profile will be available to the public as part of the ZoomInfo service. Users who create and/or update their own Public Profile can change or delete any information they provide if they choose to do so. Please use caution when posting personal identifiable information. ZoomInfo’s Advertising Network The ZoomInfo Bizographic Targeting Network is a network of publishers and websites that have joined together to improve ad delivery to business professionals, while maintaining the stringent privacy of user data. The Bizographic Targeting Network matches ads to a visitor’s bizographics, or business demographics - industry, functional area, seniority, size of company, education, sex, location, etc – as they traverse the Bizographic Targeting Network. The Bizographic Targeting Network only captures non-personally identifiable information (Non-PII), ensuring the privacy of all business people reached through the network. Other Information Collection and Use Like many other web-based service providers, ZoomInfo collects limited non-personally identifiable information provided by your browser as you use our website, services and traverse the Bizographic Targeting Network. This is done using cookies (see information on cookies below) in order to provide the best possible services to you and our other users and to target ads most relevant to you on ZoomInfo.com and across the izographic Targeting Network. This Non-PII may include (but is not limited to) IP address, browser type, time and date of use, and any activity performed while on our Website or using our services. When you are viewing a Public Profile on ZoomInfo, you will have the opportunity to forward it via email to a friend or email the person named in the Public Profile. If you choose to use one of these features, we may require you to submit your name and email address and/or the name and email address of your friend. ZoomInfo may aggregate subsets of non-personally identifiable customer data for the purpose of understanding our customer base, determining how we may serve you better, and enhancing the services that we and our customers can provide you. Credit Cards When you register to update your Public Profile, you may be asked to submit a credit card in your name to validate your identity and ensure the security of your Public Profile. This is a one-time encrypted transaction for identity confirmation and we will not store your credit card number or reuse this information in any way. Credit card information used for the purposes of purchasing ZoomExec services will be stored in an encrypted form, and will not be sold, shared or used again without your prior consent. Security The security of your personal information is important to us. When you enter sensitive information (such as credit card number) on our registration forms, we encrypt that information using secure socket layer technology (SSL). We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. However, no method of Internet transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. Confidentiality of Personally Identifiable Information ZoomInfo will not sell, rent, license or otherwise share the personally identifiable contact information (i.e. your registration email address, billing address, etc.) that you submit in the context of registration for our services. To better target ads that are most relevant to you across the Bizographic Targeting Network, ZoomInfo may access the Non-PII that may have been collected in the registration process. Personal information such as name, address and phone number is never accessed. If your email address is publicly available on the web and ZoomInfo's search engine collects it, ZoomInfo may make this information available to third parties after giving you the opportunity to opt out via email. If you register for a ZoomInfo event with a third-party speaker, your personally identifiable contact information will generally be shared with the speaker. Information that you may provide, at your discretion, in creating or updating your Public Profile, however, is intended for public disclosure and thus can be viewed by third parties. We post customer testimonials on our web site which may contain the customer's name. We always get consent from the customer prior to posting any testimonial. Disclosure of Non-personally Identifiable Information Non-PII may be shared with our network partners participating in the Bizographic Targeting Network to segment and better target relevant ads to you. Personal information such as name, address and phone number is never shared. Cookies Most websites, including ZoomInfo and members of the Bizographic Targeting Network, use a feature of your browser to set a cookie on your computer. The site placing the cookie on your computer can then recognize the computer when you revisit the site to allow auto log in, assist with delivering you relevant ads and track how you’re using the site to help customize your user experience.
