4/2005 – Pres Cypress Software Systems. Software Architect. Designed managed maintained all phases of a complex N Tier .NET loan origination system. Responsible for high level architecture, lead coding, project management and forecasting for all phases of the product lifecycle. Architectural responsibilities primarily involved changing application based infrastructure to an SOA based model, creating Enterprise Service Bus messaging frameworks as well as factoring out existing business applications into service architectural designs.Along with architectural responsibilities, there were significant hands on code responsibilities in primarily a C# - 1.1 mixed Win-Forms Rich Client, ASP.NET and XML web service environment.Projects included some ASP.Net web UI with heavy XML web service development including: advanced serialization and WSE. Data integration using ADO.Net along with heavy ORM technology development from Net Tiers – Code Smith, MS Enterprise Library components along with third parts ORM tools in SQL Server 2000 and some 2005. Stored procedure development and XML SQL were also of heavy emphasis in this position.2/2004 – 3/2005 Avanade, Las Colinas, TXSenior Development Consultant. Front line Development consultant for a strong Microsoft Consulting Firm. Duties included Lead windows development for various consulting positions using a vast array of Microsoft technologies. Technical liaison and strategic development consultant for Premier development partners of Microsoft including Autodesk, Motorola and Johnson Controls. Duties include: delivering training on leading edge .NET development techniques, troubleshooting enterprise web applications and architectural code reviews for upcoming development projects for clients of Microsoft. Position demanded confidence in front of enterprise clients as well as a thorough technical base in a vast variety of Microsoft development technologies including: C#, ASP.NET, Winforms, XMl Web Services, COM-DCOM development, Enterprise Serviced Components, COM+, C++. Strong debugging skills and architectural troubleshooting techniques were demanded. Account management was also a cornerstone of this position. 10/1997 - 5/2001 Quickpen International, Dallas, TX Lead Software Developer/Architect/Co-Partner. Designed an award winning engineering application for the AEC market running within the AutoCAD framework called Pipe Designer3D. Application was one of the first 100% custom ARX Object packages written external to Autodesk. Worked with respected piping experts to design, innovate and write around 85% of the actual code in the deliverable software.
