Robert Di Marco –42, Managing Partner of Global Services Advisory a wholly owned subsidiary of R DIMARCO, LLC, a company he founded in 2002 f/k/a Knight Consulting Group, an international sourcing and consulting company. Di Marco has served as chief executive officer at GSA, steering the Company to constant growth and innovation in international markets and industrial commodities. Since 2002, Mr Di Marco grew GSA from a start-up consulting and product sourcing business to a global facilitator of physical commodities, all while positioning the Company as the next leader in acquisition and distribution of energy products and Soft Commodities focusing in 2009 on launching GSA’s new Physical Energy Trading Company, GSA Energy LLC headquartered in Colleyville, Texas.
Di Marco has overseen the Company's since its inception managing day to day operations, customer acquisitions, joint ventures, contracts negotiations and compliance issues, and supervises all negotiations within GSA and builds a well versed management team. This experience has lead to the ability to seize on key opportunities in the fuel markets. Di Marco's vision and business acumen have allowed a 20 year entrepreneurial career initially as a commodity trader with Univest, trading precious metals and then on to Currencies. He career then advanced to International Finance, Banking, Technology and Global Sourcing. His leadership, vision and determination have enabled him to seize market opportunities, trends and leverage them quickly in good economies and bad. Di Marco while President of Viking Investment/IHC Holdings was instrumental in the precedent setting reorganization of Standard Oil of Delaware into American Resources and the Acquisition and Merger of Southern Gas, including acquisitions of Gulf Platforms and Natural Gas Pipelines in North America, setting reorganization trends throughout the energy sector.
Di Marco never shies away from controversial issues. His tenacity and willingness to address tough issues head on has earned him respect and admiration. In 1999, this resolve awarded him the Turner Entrepreneur of the Year Award and was also voted in 2000 as one of the top Up and Coming CEOs in the south east. He also foresaw early the use of the internet as a medium for streaming visual media and developed eActive one of the first online video marketing companies in the North America whose clients were Disney, ABC, Dell, NBL, NASCAR, FILA, FAU and successfully sold the company and patents to the French technology group Pentacel in 2001.
Di Marco attended Nassau Community College and St John’s University with focus on Finance and Pre Law, a graduate of the NYCPD Academy and has attended numerous PLI, classes focusing on Finance, Import Export and executive responsibility. Di Marco is a constant contributor and team leader with Habitat for Humanity of Palm Beach. He is married and is the father of two boys and currently spends his time between Palm Beach, Fl and Dallas Tx.
