Myles has been designing corporate Web sites since 1994. Early in his career, he formed Web departments within existing agencies until 1998 when he co-founded his first Web design company.In 2003 he joined forces with a larger Web development agency as their creative director and later served as president of the firm. While delivering quality design and content management is still valuable, Myles recognized the importance of strategic direction and the need for measured business results. He left the day-to-day operations of Embarc to form a new Social Media consulting company, called VividContext.In 2006, Myles founded VividContext, which uses Web strategy, Web design and Internet marketing disciplines to create Web community around corporate brands. Consulting and execution services include: interface design, information architecture, social media, Web2.0, search engine optimization, email marketing, paid search placement and post click marketing.In 2006-2007, Myles served as the Vice President of Internet Services for the Boston Chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMA). In Novemeber 2006, he founded an Executive Committee in Boston which supports the objectives of the president and assists with special projects of the members of the board of directors. In July 2007, Myles will continue serving as Chairman of the Executive Committee as well as the new AMA President-Elect.Throughout his career, he has held Sr. level creative and executive positions to provide Web design, social media strategies and Internet marketing for hundreds of companies including: Akamai, Nike|Bauer, Reebok, Phase Forward, Ralph Lauren, Lifeline, Biogen Idec, Lexmark, Genzyme, Thrive Networks | Staples and Continental Airlines.Myles lives in Mansfield, Massachusetts with his wife, and three children.
