Anthony Joslin has been coaching fencing for the past decade in the Bay Area. He earned his first coaching credential in Paris, France, in 2001 and, under the tutelage of Maestro Laszlo Szepesi, earned his Fencing Masters diploma with honors at TF Sport College in Budapest, Hungary, in 2005. He founded the Coastside Academy of Fencing in 2002 in Half Moon Bay, CA.
He has coached many youth fencers into national rankings, medals, and honors. His students have included the 2007 Pan-American Pentathlete Gold medalist (Y14 Womens Epee) in Calgary, Canada; 2008 U.S. Summer National Championships Bronze medalist (Y14 Womens Sabre); four Super Youth Circuit Champions—including one in our current year, 2009 (all Youth Gold medalists in Sabre). Anthony’s students have had the honor of RYC gold medal sweeps, and he has developed a plethora of Pacific Coast and Bay Area youth champions and medalists.
