Evan Schnittman is the Vice President of Business Development & Rights for Oxford University Press’s Academic (UK) & USA divisions. He has worked for OUP since 2002. Evan is responsible for global rights and licensing of OUP’s Academic and USA products as well as all strategic partnerships. His career in publishing spans nearly 20 years and includes positions in retail bookstore management, college textbook sales, health science editorial, trade packaging and publishing, cd-rom and online software development, business research, planning and development, and online institutional ASP development and sales. The former Executive Vice President at The Princeton Review, Evan has worked for and consulted with publishers, colleges and universities, software companies, and non-profit organizations to help them grow while maintaining fiscal discipline. Evan has also worked for FA Davis and Little, Brown & Co., as well as run his own consulting firm. He has authored chapters in reference books and has sat on advisory boards of several companies and organizations, most recently the Google Book Search Publisher Advisory Board and the Copyright Clearance Center’s Publisher Advisory Committee.
