Helen Playford (1946), graduated with a BA in Visual Arts from Edith Cowan University( 999), followed by a Masters in Arts at Curtin Business School, Curtin University of Technology (2022).
Playford’s works have been exhibited successfully internationally in London, New York, Singapore, Hong Kong and Perth, and are represented in private collections. Helen completed a series of commissioned portraits of women lawyers in WA(2000) with an exhibition (Edith Dircksey Cowan Portrait Exhibtion) at the historic Karakatta Club. During 2000/2001 Helen was one of six Perth finalists in the national bi-annual Doug Moran Portrait Prize ($100,000 first prize.)
Helen's current works include historic scenes and art works in her travells, painting also for fundraising events in UK for Oakhaven Hospice, Princes Trust and New Milton Rotary in Hampshire (2009).
