Resident expatriate Warren Rodwell (a native English-speaker) has been in the People's Republic of China since 2002. He has co-produced a book " Chengdu Sichuan China " about local culture, customs, history & travel, and is also a member of Sichuan Leisure Culture Studies group, as well as an honorary envoy for the Sichuan Provincial People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries ( SIFA ).
Warren Rodwell has narrated "Yothok Yonden Gonpo Medical Association" a documentary DVD about Dzongsar Tibetan Hospital, its ethnic community culture and so on in Dege County, far west Sichuan Province.The unfamiliar name of Dzongsar appeared in the best seller "The Tibetan Book of Living & Dying" when it first introduced most venerable Jamyang Choekyi Lodre Renpoche to the world.
Mr Rodwell regularly writes journalistic feature stories, submits pictures for magazines, newspapers and online publications. Apart from website design & administration, he teaches in a Chinese university. He has also established and edited a 44 page hardcopy community-focus magazine. A completely separate CD/PPT presentation was created in Myanmar (Burma) to globally promote Sitagu International Buddhist Academy. Other recent travels include Asia, Australia, central Europe & various parts of China.
