Kevin is serious about generating and implementing ideas that genuinely work for an organisation and this passion for successful ideas is matched only by an unerring belief that the best ideas can be ruined by over-complication and ineffective execution.
With dreams of post-university professional rugby quashed through injury (and being too small!), Kevin has spent the last 15 years making this philosophy a reality, working or consulting with major blue chip organisations, small businesses and with various charities. To take this philosophy further, Kevin founded Bottom Line Ideas in 2008 which focuses on generating great and realistic ideas and strategies for not-for-profit organisations. Prior to this Kevin held the position of Vice President of Marketing for one of the world’s leading psychometric product and consultancy providers.
This varied experience has enabled Kevin to either lead, manage or deliver every aspect of the marketing mix from global strategy creation to campaign execution; accountable to boards, trustees, members and customers alike. According to ex-colleagues, a core enabler of this success is the ability to motivate teams to succeed through a mixture of showing and engendering respect, positive coaching and a consistent focus on creating the right environment to be successful.
Having gained a joint Honours degree in Business Studies and IT from the University of Kent, Kevin went on to earn various marketing and professional qualifications and win industry marketing awards, before undertaking an Executive MBA in 2002 which has provided further rigour to his approach.
