J. Shep BioSince 2001, J. Shep has been known as one of the top up in coming Gospel songwriters in the city of Chicago. On his first album, “Songs Vol. 1” Shep received high accolades from many of his peers throughout the Gospel community. Over the past 7 years, J. Shep has had many great opportunities to work with such artists as: KiKi Sheard, Karen Clark-Sheard, Kurt Carr, and Percy Gray, and Grammy and Stellar award winner PJ Morton. J. Shep is currently working on his second album entitled “The Urban Notebook”. When ask to describe the sound of the album, Shep said he is creating a new sound called “Gospelpop”.
