I have heavy e-commerce and online marketing experience, as well as ‘traditional’ business development, strategy, brand & product management, direct & data marketing, media buying, and creative management experience. I am a leader of projects and people with strong experience leading teams to success, and interfacing with senior management.
In my current role as VP Marketing for Lehman Brothers / CampusDoor I manage all aspects of the marketing function, including direct marketing, promotion and branding efforts. In a multi-channel environment, I must coordinate efforts to work through both online and offline entities (resellers, e-commerce sites, search engines, schools, etc.).
In several roles, but especially at CampusDoor and Jewelry.com I have had complete responsibility for customer acquisition and retention including content management, online marketing, affiliate marketing, print and media advertising, direct mail, event marketing, sales/account support, market research and lead generation.
I have repeatedly created successful broad-based marketing and branding plans, built off bottoms-up forecasting and indicators, and focused on trackable metrics and quantifiable ROI.
I am highly comfortable with the technical environment and online world in general. I have strong e-commerce experience, having run transactional websites at Jewelry.com, and ChipCenter.com – an e-commerce spinoff from my then-employer. I have successfully managed SEM and SEO campaigns, as well as creation of online communities, user-created content and other ‘web 2.0’ type elements.
I have both agency and corporate experience, giving me a strong ability to manage marketing-driven relationships both internally, and with vendors of whatever sort.
I have successfully managed creative, marketing services and cross-functional teams of up to 50, coordinated with sales, operations and technology groups, overseen budgets well into the 8-figure range and have superior communications skills.
