Lavon A. Barton, EVP, National Sales Manager in Irvine, California, with over 15 years of Retail and business-to-business experience. Lavon has held numerous regional and senior executive positions in several companies. In addition, he has the entrepreneur’s spirit. Lavon co-founded two different business-to-business platforms. Some of his leadership accomplishments include:
Spearheaded new business channel with goal of closing $5 million in new business and achieved over $15 million in personal volume.
Led Region with only seven sales representatives to ‘Top Region” in its first month closing over $45 million in volume against seven other Regions with 15 – 20 sales representatives each.
Pioneered a Business-to-Business Platform delivering over $40 million in production within a six month period and went on to hire and manage 40 sales representatives nationwide.
Co-founded new Business-to-Business platform, recruiting and managing three Area Sales Managers developing inside and outside sales that grew to over $65 million in less than one year.
Created a quality program focus with measurement criteria resulting in an increase in sales representative conversion ratios from an industry standard of 30% to 50% within 30 days.
Lavon attended UCLA as a Business Major, and participated in Baseball during his freshman year. Earned a BA in Psychology from Whittier College located in Whittier California, and participated in Football and Baseball activities achieving All-League honors.
