Joe is founder and President of Intellective Solutions (www.IntellectiveS.com). He works with printing and technology companies to improve their sales effectiveness. Intellective Solutions is an experienced provider of quality customized sales and sales management training material and services. Joe writes and speaks frequently on sales and sales management issues. Prior to entering the training and consulting business, Joe managed large direct and channel sales and marketing organizations as a senior executive at Xerox and Sharp Electronics. At Sharp Electronics, he was the President of the Communication and Systems Group (CISG). He was on the Sharp US Board of Directors and directed a staff of 400+ with annual sales of $1.2B. He moved his division from unprofitable to profitable while transitioning the group to new technologies and markets. Also, the division successfully implemented a SAP system which significantly reduced and improved efficiencies. His responsibilities included general management of all business products sold by Sharp in the US including mobile computing, copier, fax, PC projector and POS.At Xerox, Joe managed large sales and marketing organizations focused on enterprise accounts, production printing, office and enterprise solutions. Prior to leaving Xerox, he was the Vice President of the Business Group Unit responsible for color and B&W office products in the eastern part of the US market.In addition, Joe is an adjunct professor in the Marketing Department at Dominican College in Blauvelt, N.Y. At Dominican College, he is a board member of the Palisades Institute. The Institute provides programs to the local business community focused on quality, ethics and leadership. Joe holds an undergraduate degree in History and Economics from Queens College, New York, an M.S. in Education from St. John’s University and an MBA in Marketing from Hofstra University. He is married with two children and lives in Tuxedo, NY.
