Creating graphics for large technology companies like Microsoft and Cisco Systems, Melanie and her husband Ryan started RocLok in 2007 and officially introduced it to the market in May 2008.
RocLok is the brainchild of Ryan who has been a licensed Real Estate Agent in Oregon since 2001. Wanting to introduce a product that would combine the security of a combination lock box while camouflaging into it's surrounding outdoors. RocLok is the first and only faux rock to not only look and feel like a real rock but its incorporation of a combination lock with 999 possible codes that the owner sets and can reset if needed is what really sets it apart from the competition.
As the Vice President of Marketing and Co-Founder, Melanie Belshee spends most of her time creating new and interesting ways to help get RocLok out to the world. Designing everything for the company from the logo, brochures and website Melanie also enjoys using social media networks.
In the little spare time the Belshee’s have, they work on a variety of home projects and have just finished up a year long condo rebuild to accommodate the needs of people with mobility issues.
