The world renowned guitar virtuoso, musician and songwriter Ben Schultz is the founder and President of The Kokoro Group Corporation. A state of the art recording studio (Barefoot Studios, a pro room in a very relaxed enviroment) that not only has the latest digital, analog and vintage technologies available in the recording industry— but prides itself on its producing and engineering/mixing prowess that is second to none.

Ben Schultz started out his music career as do many musicians in high school where he mastered several instruments,(first chair varsity band while in junior high, and Fla state sight reading awardee), then moving on to attend the University of Southern Florida, he concentrated on voice and music literature. Ben then attended the prestigious Berklee College of Music (Boston) where he continued his studies in Arranging and Harmony. After completing his studies there, Ben was accepted at the New England Conservatory where he studied Big Band Arranging and again, Music Literature. Ben continued on under the tutelage of Thad Jones and Mel Lewis sharpening his arranging and composition skills. Ben worked with George Russell perfecting his Lydian Chromatic Concepts, and then with Robert Ceely further mastering his Electronic Music, Composition and Classical Counterpoint studies and aptitude.

Ben augmented his talents as an engineer by attending The Learning Tree University, majoring in Computer Programming and LA Valley College where he studied Computer Science. As a result, Ben Schultz applied and gained invaluable experience while working at “The Record Plant” with Gary Kellgren, “Sound City with Keith Olsen”, “Westlake Audio” in Los Angeles, and “Criteria”(Mac Emmerman, Tom Dowd, Jerry Wexler) in Miami and “Studio 70” in Tampa Florida.

As a founder of The CyberActive Networks Inc. Ben became the Senior Vice President of Design and System for content in Data Storage for the infant streaming Entertainment Industry. Additionally, Ben has extensive knowledge in proprietary Secure Intranets and transmission of Audio/video content through fiber optic networks that is finally being put in use today.

Ben has been requested by, and performed with the best musicians in world. People like Belinda Carlisle, Buddy Miles, Small Faces, Jon Butcher, Carmine Appice, Ricky Nelson, Steven Stills, Bonnie Pointer, Diana Ross, Rod Stewart and Jimi Hendrix to name a few.

Ben Schultz has composed and arranged, engineered and produced for the film and television industry as well, with credits for his band the Barefoot Servants, Sony Playstation. The television play, “Picket Fences”, “Gonna Watch Fox Tonight” for Fox Television, and “Wings of Gold” for the “Pensacola” television theme. Many other credits, again, to numerous to list here are available, but all point to the same conclusion that Ben Schultz is a rare master within the recording industry. A respected artists with rave reviews from the industries most respected reviewers and periodicals. A techno-savvy producer and engineer with the where with all— to make things happen for aspiring artist.
