Raj Saxena has an extensive background in strategic planning and global delivery. Over the last 20 years, Raj has held a variety of positions in IBM. These include leading IBM’s plans for establishing Global Delivery Centers in countries like India, China, Brazil and Argentina. He also implemented a global competency based structure in IBM’s Strategic Outsourcing business that drove consistency and ensured competitive service delivery in one of IBM’s largest business units.Prior to this Raj was instrumental in developing the attributes of IBM’s Application Management Services offering and worked on a number of client and internal accounts. In 1998 he was the Delivery Project Executive responsible for the globalization of a large telecomm client. At the time this was one of the largest single migrations of work to India and continues to be IBM’s flagship US account in India. Mr. Saxena joined IBM as a Software Developer in 1985. He held a variety of business and technology positions from 1985 through 1995 managing teams responsible for the development of information systems, architectures, and IT strategies.Mr. Saxena earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the State University of New York, majoring in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics. He lives in Brewster, New York with his wife and two children.
