Doug and his wife Ellen, parent their seven children, ages 9-29 (and now 5 grandkids). They minister from Seattle where they founded, and for 21 years, have pastored Horizon Church (Seattle City Foursquare Church). Captured by a vision to disciple all nations, this church has birthed 10 daughter congregations, seven in other languages. Dr. Heck has coached and assisted in dozens of new church plants, emphasizing multi-cultural church starts. Doug speaks internationally in churches, conferences, and colleges, on the love and power of the Holy Spirit, ministering gentle encouragement with a prophetic wind that ignites fires and builds faith.
