Biography

At the age of 25, Erin Martin prioritizes one thing above all: relationships. Whether professional, academic or personal, relationships with people and with institutions is the backbone of success. Since her first job at age 14, relationships and networks have helped her accomplish many of her goals. After graduating cum laude from Binghamton University, New York in 2002, Erin went on to enroll in a competitive Urban Planning program at the London School of Economics. Erin graduated in just one year with a Master's of Science in Urban Planning. Her academic experience was not limited to planning practices but to urban economics as well. The exposure led Erin to seek out occupations dealing with urban economics, ultimately landing her a position with GVA Williams, a commercial real estate company. Continually eager to challenge herself, Erin took a higher position in 2004 at competing company, Cushman & Wakefield, as a Research Specialist. Working in the New York Research Group, Erin quickly established an excellent reputation in the company and was promoted after less than a year to an Associate position in the National Research Group.Erin's individual competitive spirit in the workplace is very much inspired by coopertive team atmospheres. Not only does her professional life exhibit such character, but Erin is an elite level athlete for New York Athletic Club. As a rower with three national championships, Erin competes both individually and in team boats. The sport fuels not only Erin's individual competitiveness, but facilitates her efforts to prioritize relationships in her personal and professional life.
