Born in Puerto Rico, started training in kiokushin-kai in 1972. In 1973 started training in the goju system under master Raymond Nunez, Kenneth Freeman and Grand Master Joe Artesi. won over 100 amateur competition and in 1979 became a professional kickboxer. I received by master's degree from the Dai-nippon butokukain in Japan and the New Jersey State Black Belt Association. I hold and 8th degree black belt in the goju karate style.
