Joon S. Han is a specialist with Better San Diego, a strategic alignment company that helps people be heroes to their organizations, but more importantly to those that matter most to them. Strategic alignment is the process of achieving customer loyalty through a strong and unique strategy, organizational excellence and disciplined leadership. Joon founded Better San Diego as a part of a multi-phase plan for the wholesale betterment of the beloved city in which his family resides and also when in his own words, "I realized that I don't make a very good employee." He is the author of the upcoming book, Profit through Altruism; Getting Ahead by Giving Back(due Feb '07). In addition to his specialist duties with Better San Diego, Joon is also the Executive Director for Hope in the City, a community development organization serving East City Heights ( www.HITCSD.org ); although participation in the education of his children at the local musical conservatory usually trumps both obligations. And with his abundance of left-over free time, he fits-in keynote speaking on topics ranging from strategic leadership, ethics and systemic racism. He resides in beautiful San Diego, CA where he graduated from UCSD with a BS in Molecular Biology and met his wife.
