Mike has over a decade of experience in outsourced engineering design with Acorn 2005-Current (ME firm) and SET Engineering 1997-2004 (EE/FW) as a Vice President. Mike has participated in the design of the initial product to hit the market in many key technologies such as the original Palm Pilot, the first DSL modem, optical switches, advanced handheld LCDs, gaming controllers and high-speed Intel/AMD server blades. Prior to SET, Mike worked as CFO of XImage (law enforcement biometrics - acquired in 1997 by ImageWare) and as President of Missing Link Executives, a provider of part-time executives to small technology companies. From 1993-1995, Mike was General Manager of Kycon (connectors) and working as business advisor to the first fledgling internet start-ups, such as Cyborganic. From 1983-1993, Mike was a Senior Analyst at the Economist. Mike's career started as an investigator and administrative assistant at Failure Analysis Associates (now Exponent)
