Born in California, Ms. Dominguez moved to South Florida in 1973 and has been firmly rooted in this community ever since. She has worked with the Red Cross, local religious organizations that provide food to the homeless and participated in community clean up drives. She has volunteered on several boards and is very well versed in condominium and homeowners association statutes and requirements.
Nancy Dominguez is the CEO and founder of Florida Adjusting Services Team and the co-founder of Quick Collect Claims, Inc. Florida Adjusting is a professional public adjusting company and Quick Collect Claims is a medical billing and collections agency.
Prior to setting out on her own as an entrepreneur, Ms. Dominguez gained a good deal of legal background while working for a prominent civil litigator as a paralegal for over 13 years. Her job included taking civil litigation cases from beginning to end up to and including assisting at trial. All preliminary investigations including legal research and obtaining evidence were part of her spectrum of responsibilities.
Today Ms. Dominguez runs a top notch public insurance adjusting firm that dedicates itself to consumer advocacy by helping the public get the money they're entitled to when an insurance claim is presented. She specializes in commercial and residential insurance claims including appraisals, mediations and serving as an expert witness at trial.
Her legal background gives her an edge in interpreting the often complicated language of insurance policies. She has also completed a great deal of study relating to building construction and building code requirements.
In August of 2007, Ms. Dominguez was honored by her peers by being elected to serve on the board of directors of the Florida Association of Public Insurance Adjusters (FAPIA). FAPIA is the largest public adjuster trade organization in the United States and recently celebrated it's 15 year anniversary. Nancy Dominguez also serves on the legislative committee of FAPIA which is charged with the responsibility helping to improve legislation in Florida so that it is more consumer friendly.
