Denver native, James has worked in the real estate and finance industry since 1984. As a dedicated public servant, he is passionate about the arts and has served on numerous boards and commissions. James is past Chairman of the Colorado Real Estate Appraisers Board. James is a member of the board of directors for the Denver Art Museum and served as a Mayoral appointee on the "Architect Selection Committee" for the expansion of the Denver Art Museum. In 2003, James received the "Juanita Ross Gray Award for Community Service" presented by the Denver Public Library. James is committed to adding value for his clients drawing on more than twenty years of experience in the real estate listing, sales and mortgage industry. James utilizes a unique consultative approach to gain understanding of his client's long term and short-term goals. Outside of his professional and community interest, James competes as an amatuer cyclist riding for the Team Velocity. James also has a deep interest in equestrian sports, motor sports, and antiquarian book collecting. In 2005 James was awarded the professional designation of Certified Mortgage Lender (CML) by the Colorado Mortgage Lenders Association.
