Birthplace Southern Maryland.
Attended University of Maryland Balitimore County before transferring and graduating from West Virginia University. Summers in Ocean City, Maryland and Solomons Island, Maryland. Internship and paid experience in Public Television camera, public relations, graphics, editing, directing. Night manager, WVU Bookstore while obtaining undergraduate degree. Eight years employed by West Virginia University, began employment in Academic Computing as a Media Distribution Specialist, served two years as Interim Assistant Director of Educational Technology Services and then Interim Director of Educational Technology Services. During these interim appointments I began a family and moved to part time work in 1999. When not serving as interim director, my primary position was as an Instructional Designer providing technology direction to the university, and training, and assisting faculty in creating online materials for college courses. I also completed beginning coursework toward an EdD in educational psychology at WVU. Currently, stay-at-home mother of three.
