Matsobane Monare started off his career as a Stock Controller in 1989 at Propower Automotive, after which he decided to pursue a career in teaching.He left teaching in 2000 for the private sector, where he assumed the position of an Area Manager with Mathomo Financial Services.The following year he was promoted to the position of Regional General Manager, in charge of Sales and New Business Development.Matsobane has spend a short stint with Old Mutual as a Sales Manager before joining Liberty.He is now in charge of the implementation of the Access part of the Financial Sector Charter within Liberty, holding the position of Sales and Distribution Manager.
