He appears regularly as an executive search-and-labor market analyst for CBC News World.
David Perry is the coauthor of Guerrilla Marketing for Job Hunters 2.0 [John Wiley 2009] and is author of Career Guide for the High-Tech Professional: Where the jobs are and how to land them [ May 2004]
David is co-founder of the Knowledge Workers Institute of Canada, Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors for the Canadian Technology Human Resources Board, and former board member of the Software Human Resource Council and HR Policy Adviser to the 5800 member companies of the Canadian Advanced Technology Alliance.
David graduated from McGill University in 1982 with a BA in Economics and Industrial Relations. As a Commissioned Officer, he Graduated 1st in his class and was awarded the Sword of Honor. In 1999, he was recognized as one of the “Top Forty Under Forty” Young Entrepreneurs. He lives in Ottawa.
