Born and raised in Eritrea, East Africa. Working knowledge of 7 languages. My calling is to assist community-based and faith-based organizations with integrity to find the courage, foster the wisdom, and facilitate transformational leadership, to make their vision a living reality. I bring to this work unique gifts in the areas of communication, corporate discernment, participatory management, appreciative inquiry, conflict resolution, and contemplative leadership. Special joys include family intimacy, story telling, and organic gardening. I am passionate about essential peacemaking and global networking. My inspiration comes from corporate discernment, meditation and prayer, the mountains, cancer warriors and their families, and those with the courage to speak truth to power. I have successfully developed and supported more than 50 funded foundation and federal grants for more than $8 million to serve high-need communities.
