While pursuing a career at Motorola , I met entrepreneurs who seemed fully engaged and excited about in their work. In contrast, many of my peers seemed unenthusiastic about their jobs, even though they were buying new cars and homes. I realized that my biggest risk was having a lifestyle that would tie me to my job. In 1984, after six years as Motorola's National Cellular Accounts Manager, I resigned to pursue my passion for creating solutions with teams of entrepreneurs.
