Peter F. De Nicola joined FUJIFILM in June of 1991 as Tax Manager. Prior to joining FUJIFILM, he held various tax management positions with KPMG, General Signal Corporation, Emery Air Freight, AI International Corporation and Siemens Corporation. A CPA, he earned a B.S. in accounting and an MBA in taxation from New York University. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, New York State Society of CPAs and the Connecticut Society of CPAs. He has also authored numerous articles on tax planning.
Long active in professional and community affairs, Peter is the Past President of the Mount Pleasant (NY) Rotary Club, Treasurer of the Connecticut Chapter of the American Association of Individual Investors, President of the Westchester-Fairfield Chapter of the Tax Executives Institute, Secretary - Treasurer of the Stamford (CT) Tax Association and Treasurer of the Long Ridge Club, Inc. In 2006, he was honored as "Rotarian of the Year" and, in 2008, was named a Paul Harris Fellow.
A long time investor with a keen sense of the markets, Peter's active involvement in the leadership of the American Association of Individual Investors has garnered national attention. In an October 13, 2008 front page article in the Wall Street Journal, he shared his personal portfolio strategies and assessment of the turbulent market conditions brought about by the credit crisis.
Since graduating from NYU in 1976, he has enthusiastically supported his alma mater throughout the years. He served as a director of the business school's alumni association for twenty years. In addition, he has chaired numerous business conferences, fundraising events and other alumni outreach programs during that time. In recognition of his extraordinary personal and financial commitment to NYU, a suite in the University's Third Avenue South Residence Hall was named in his honor in 1989.
In additional to his professional and charitable activities, Peter has served as an iconographic consultant to Bank of America. In 2004, he collaborated with the Italian Ministry of Finance and the Smithsonian Institution to present an exhibit in Rome of artifacts, photos and letters from his personal collection relating to the bank's history and its founder, A.P. Giannini.
He resides in Stamford, CT with his wife, Charlotte.
