Robert (Rob) DeRobertis is director of marketing for ADI's General Purpose Digital Signal Processing division. In this position, Rob oversees the development and implementation of marketing strategy, manages product sub-brands and drives go to market strategies for the division. Rob is responsible for all divisional public relations, advertisements (creative and media buy), events, ebusiness (website, intranet, viral marketing), channel programs and selling tools.In this role, Rob leads a team of marketing professionals and business development engineers to invent a new kind of Marcom organization: one that is focused on the multifarious execution of programs for maximum business impact. This team re-positioned the division and previously positioned product into a new, larger tangential market, with positive growth results.Rob, a career engineer, has held various positions at ADI, including product line management (P&L), business development and marketing responsibility for ADI's general purpose DSP, wireless infrastructure and digital imaging products.
