ContentFilm plc is engaged in the development, sales, financing, marketing and exploitation of entertainment based intellectual property rights, with emphasis on feature films, television programming, digital rights exploitation and home entertainment distribution. The Company operates in six segments: Film Production, International Sales, UK Distribution, US Home Entertainment Distribution, Licensing, and Merchandising and Corporate. In April 2008, the Company announced the completion of the acquisition of the CBC library, Season One of The Border and Heartland, and Season Two to both The Border and Heartland. Its subsidiaries include ContentFilm International Limited, which is engaged film and television sales; ContentFilm Productions Limited, which is engaged in licensing and marketing of entertainment based intellectual property rights, and ContentFilm Pictures Limited, which is engaged in writing, development and production of feature films and television programmes.
