Description
Ellie founded Promotional Source in 1997 and has been in the promotional products business since 1988. She spent nine and half years working for a leader in the industry in sales before starting her own business. She initially started school majoring in Hotel and Restaurant Management but switched gears when she realized a career in that industry would mean relocating to various parts of the country. Ellie received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a Marketing Managment Major from Cal Poly Pomona in 1987. Prior to that, Ellie spent a number of years in the hotel and restaurant industry primarily working for Hyatt & Marriott Hotels as well as a number of independently owned restaurants.
Ellie enjoys her time with her boyfriend of nearly seven years, Steve. She also spends quality time with mother, Bernice and older brother James as well as her kitty cat Woofer. She especially enjoys local and long distance travel, restaurants, concerts, boating, racquetball, the outdoors; walking around the area, animals and all facets of the Arts. Ellie's hobbies include taking photos, making photo albums, home decorating, fashion, antique buttons and a small jewerly business. She was an Air Force Brat in her early years and spent time living in Japan and Taiwan and has lived in Long Beach since 1976.
Susan joined Promotional Source in July of 2002 after spending a number of years in management and sales support. Susan earned a BA degree in Psychology from Seton Hall University in New Jersey where she grew up. After college, Susan headed west and landed her first job at a small promotional products company in the San Fernando Valley. She stayed there 7 years and what began as a job turned into a 20 year career.
Although Susan gave up her true passion of becoming an 80's rock star in the 90's, she can still be found any given evening listening to live music along the coast. She plays a mean air guitar! Susan loves working a block from the beach and living only a few miles away. A far cry from Jersey but as they say "You can take the girl out of Jersey but you cannot take the Jersey out of the girl". Her wry sense of humor keeps her going in an industry that at times can be high pressured and demanding. Susan resides in Long Beach with her partner Carri and their dogs Isaac and Gustavo.
Tracy brings a lot of energy to Promotional Source and has been in the promotional products business since 1996. She began her career in Military sales to the Army, Navy, Air Force and Marines and continues to service those accounts. "It's interesting to work in one industry this long and be able to see your military clients advance through their rankings". Her longevity in this field has given her the expertise and knowledge in determining the exact needs of her customers. Tracy has also developed relationships with her corporate clientele and continuously networks to increase that part of the business. In this competitive market today, she is very happy that a large portion of her clientele is referral driven. In her free time she especially enjoys traveling, the beach, snow skiing- her favorite sport, and tennis at least once a week. As far as hobbies go, Tracy is concentrating on joining a top 40 band as lead vocalist. Singing and entertaining are her passion!
Tracey joined Promotional Source in the fall of 2004. She has been a Sales Coordinator in various industries for over fourteen years including the sales coordination of water heaters and boilers, plumbing and fixtures, chemical pumps and light construction equipment and generators. Tracey believes with the right attitude and product knowledge that she can sell practical anything. She finds the Promotional Products industry experience fascinating. She is absorbing as much information as possible and is very enthusiast in her daily tasks. Tracey loves the daily challenges of fulfilling client's expectations by finding just the right promotional products for their needs. Tracey is a native Californian and enjoys spending time with her husband Alvin and her family. On the weekends, she can be found in endless home improvement projects or refinishing furniture. Tracey especially enjoys time spent in the desert.
Denise has an extensive background in the promotional products business as she has been in the industry since 1990. She has previous lived in Southern CA. but now lives back home in Wolcott, CO. which is 17 west of Vail, CO. Denise lives on the third generation family ranch with her husband Carl, son Carl Jr. who is 15, her Border Collie Shep and cat Molly. She received her Consumer Science degree from Colorado State University.
Denise embraces her Greek Heritage and values time spent with her family. She is active with her son's school and various activities. She enjoys gardening and the endless skiing opportunities in the area.
Cynthia has been in the Promotional Products industry for over 8 years. Her experience has been all over the board within the industry from assisting sales people, to managing catalog programs, to working within the music industry to promote new and upcoming bands. Her experience working in different positions within the industry has helped her become a very knowledgeable sales rep bringing to the table creative ideas, knowledge of product research, and an understanding of product production. She has extensive experience working with overseas factories and can thus help her clients with better pricing, better knowledge and understanding of overseas capabilities, and as a result a faster smoother production of her client's custom promotional products. Cynthia joined Promotional Source in 2002 then left to pursue the opportunity to help open and manage a promotional products department, she rejoined Promotional Source in 2005 to work in Account Sales. Cynthia primarily works out of her home but does come into the office which is located a half mile away from her home, she loves the commute.
