Our Bariatric Team Leader is a Board Certified General Surgeon: Alex Gruneiro, M.D. Dr. Gruneiro is Fellowship Trained in Minimally Invasive & Bariatric Surgery, and has performed over 400 bariatric surgeries. He is joined by Atif Iqbal, M.D., who is also Fellowship Trained in Minimally Invasive & Bariatric Surgery. Along with their team of professionals, they perform both Laparoscopic and Open Gastric Bypass Surgery (Roux-en-Y), along with the Adjustable Gastric Banding System, commonly referred to as the LAP-BAND.

Our physicians and supporting staff provide you with individualized care in order to support your efforts as you venture ahead toward your desired weight loss and lifestyle modifications. Our comprehensive approach includes:
