Communities In Schools of Northern Virginia (CIS NoVa) is a local affiliate of the nationally recognized Communities In Schools organization which is the nation's leading community-based organization helping kids succeed in school and prepare for life. For more than two decades, CIS, the nation's largest stay-in-school network, has promoted access to comprehensive social and support services for more than 1 million children and their families in 1,500 education sites in 32 states and 243 school districts throughout the country.

Communities In Schools of Nothern Virginia (CIS Nova) is working with children and their families at Groveton, Riverside, Woodley Hills, and Maury Elementary Schools, and Landmark Career Academy in Alexandria, Virginia.
