Parcel Direct has strengthened its executive-level management with the appointment of two vice presidents who will help oversee the growth of the burgeoning parcel expediting company. Don Terkel has been named Vice President of Operations, and Jeff Duening has been appointed Vice President of Sales. In these newly created positions, both Mr. Terkel and Mr. Duening will report directly to Dave Riebe, President of Parcel Direct, from Parcel Direct headquarters in New Berlin, Wis.

Parcel Direct is the nation's leading ground-residential parcel expeditor. This division of Quad/Graphics has experienced rapid growth since its inception five years ago. "The growth of Parcel Direct can be attributed to the leadership Mr. Terkel and Mr. Duening have provided," said Mr. Riebe. "They possess the knowledge and experience needed to help guide the future of the company."

Combined, Mr. Terkel and Mr. Duening have approximately 30 years' industry experience. The two will join Steve Zwieg, who was named Vice President of Customer Service / Development in 2000, to direct the future growth and success of Parcel Direct.

In his role as Vice President of Operations, Don Terkel will be responsible for operations of all Parcel Direct sites around the nation. An 18-year veteran of Quad/Graphics, Mr. Terkel has been involved with Parcel Direct since its grand opening in 1998. For the last four years he has worked in Operations, first as the Operations Manager of Parcel Direct's Martinsburg, W.Va., facility, and most recently as the Corporate Operations Manager.

In his role as Vice President of Sales, Jeff Duening will be responsible for the overall sales and marketing functions of Parcel Direct. Most recently, Mr. Duening worked as National Sales Manager, promoting the advantages of Parcel Direct. Prior to joining Quad/Graphics, Mr. Duening lent his sales expertise to United Parcel Service. Mr. Duening is a 5-year veteran of Parcel Direct.
