Lux Capital invests in early-stage companies and takes an active role in their growth and development. Lux will also form companies from scratch. We call this de novo investing. In either case, our goal is simple: find outstanding entrepreneurs and scientists and support them as a long-term partner. We help build lasting companies that reward all those involved.

Launching the company as its first institutional investor
Recruiting key management, board members, advisors and co-investors
Negotiating technology licensing agreements
Advising on business model and strategy
Providing deep industry and sector knowledge
Making introductions to partners, customers and vendors

Providing follow-on funding and leading strategy for future financing rounds
