National CineMedia, Inc. serves as the holding company for its consolidated subsidiary, National CineMedia, LLC (NCM LLC), and has no business operations or material assets other than its ownership interest of approximately 44.8% of the common membership units in NCM LLC. National CineMedia and NCM LLC (collectively, the Company) operate a digital in-theater network in North America that allows distribution of advertising, business meetings and digital programming event services using a digital content network (DCN) and digital broadcast network (DBN). The Company derives revenue principally from : Advertising, CineMeetings and Fathom Events. During the fiscal year ended December 27, 2007 (fiscal 2007), approximately 8,400 CineMeetings events were facilitated and 33 Fathom events attended by approximately 750,000 patrons.
