KKR Financial LLC was founded in August 2004 by Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. L.P., and by Founding Partners, Saturnino Fanlo and David Netjes as a management company. Each Founding Partner brings more than 20 years of investment and trading experience to KKR Financial LLC and have worked together as business partners for more than eight years. With their expertise at the helm and our roots in the world's oldest and most experienced private equity firm, we are building and continually leveraging the right relationships to offer the best-in-class brand in financial services. Our affiliate, Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. L.P., has a rich, more than 30-year heritage.
