Maya Entertainment Ltd. (MEL) is one of India's oldest and most respected studios. Founded in 1996, MEL has grown to encompass businesses in animation and visual effects, content production and 3D animation education.

MELs CG animation studio has talented CG artists whose work has been recognized at BAFTA, Pulcinella, and GDC, and who have delivered projects in a wide variety of formats and styles, demonstrating MELs creative and technical strength. MEL has worked on assignments for BBC, Rainbow, Electronic Arts, Sony, Activision and other leading companies.

The content division has produced several live action shows and is currently working on its own IP in animation and live action. It is also partnering on co-productions to develop IP for the global TV market.

Maya Academy for Advanced Cinematics, the 3D animation education division, is growing rapidly and has over 60 schools in 5 countries with 8000 students passing through its courses annually. A large portion of the 3D industry in India is fueled by trained talent from MAAC. MAAC has strategic alliances with Autodesk, NVidia, Apple, HP and other industry stalwarts, and has an alliance with Cambridge University, UK, for certification.
