Description
The Michigan Subbuteo Table Football Association was formed in 2003 in order to promote and organise the game of Sports Table Football, also known as Subbuteo or table soccer, in the state of Michigan. By creating a geographic pyramid of play, we aim to allow players to compete at varied levels and with varying commitments to the sport. By organising frequent events in various public locations across the state, we aim to promote the game and bring it to the masses.
Make A Pitch for Subbuteo!
We are looking for sponsors and locations for new international-standard Subbuteo tabletops. MiSTFA will advise your purchase and build the tabletop for you. All you need to do is make the tabletop available to us for the Great Lakes Cup every year - just 2 days out of 365 - or any other major event we organise.
Companies, write off about $160 by donating a tabletop to your chosen charity - or purchase one for your recreation room. Sports facilities, this is one more item to add to your pool, darts and air hockey area. Clubs and organisations, check with us for a potential donor, or find one yourselves and then contact us.
MiSTFA will provide all the assistance you need in starting up a local league, including rules documentation and training seminars.
The tabletop setups comprise of:
A FISTF approved playing surface
A 1/2" or 3/4" sheet of MDF, 5' x 3.5"
Edging around the entire perimeter 1" above the playing surface, leaving a 6" gap at each end for goaltending.
FISTF approved metal goals with removable thumbscrews for easy portability and flatter storage
Two teams of your choice, or we'll give you suggestions such as France v Italy (2006 World Cup Final)
A set of balls
MiSTFA information package including rules, advice on setting up leagues, etc.
The total price of this equipment runs to about $160.
