Description

One Yellow Rabbit is a "creation house" centering around a core ensemble of creative artists. Our mission is to create original, adult-oriented performance theatre for and about the community that supports us, presenting in our home venue in Calgary and wherever invited in the world. In addition, we nuture similar activities of others in several ways: with our annual festival of performative arts, the High Performance Rodeo; by presenting other creation-based projects at other times during our season; and by teaching activities focusing on ceation, especially during our annual school, the Summer Lab Intensive. Finally we develop projects adapted from our stage creations such as radio plays, film/video projects and digital content on the web.
