Magellan Health Services, Inc. (Magellan) is engaged in the specialty managed healthcare business. Magellan provides services to health plans, insurance companies, corporations, labor unions and various governmental agencies. The Company’s business is divided into six segments: Managed Behavioral Healthcare Health Plan (HealthPlan), The Managed Behavioral Healthcare Employer (Employer), Managed Behavioral Healthcare Public Sector (Public Sector), Radiology Benefits Management, Specialty Pharmaceutical Management, and Corporate and Other. The Company’s managed behavioral healthcare business is composed of three of the Company’s segments HealthPlan, Employer and Public Sector. On July 31, 2006, Magellan acquired ICORE Healthcare LLC (ICORE), a specialty pharmaceutical management company. On January 31, 2006, the Company acquired National Imaging Associates, Inc. (NIA), a radiology benefits management (RBM) firm.
