Description
Huntington Capital (Huntington) is a limited partnership operating as a federally licensed Small Business Investment Company (SBIC). We are managed and operated by our general partner, HFMC, Inc. Huntington provides flexible growth financing to established small and medium sized companies located in Southwest USA.
Our founder, Richard B. Huntington was the co-founder of University Mechanical and Engineering Contractors with his brother Lee Huntington. They started with one used truck and a box of tools and grew to the largest mechanical engineering contracting company of its type in the nation with $150 million in revenues. Similarly our limited partners include many of Southwest USA's pioneering entrepreneurs who are continuing that heritage by participating as investors and advisors to Huntington Capital.
Huntington Capital provides growth capital in the range of $750,000 to $1,400,000 to companies that have been in operation for at least two years, have at least one year of profitable operations and the potential for continued profitable growth. The most critical factor in our decision is the quality of the management team.
Because of the various ways Huntington Capital can structure a transaction it is not necessary for our clients to plan on selling the company or focus on a strategy for taking the company public. We can tailor financing packages for our borrowers that match their company's unique situation.
