Tessera Technologies, Inc. (Tessera) is a developer and licensor of miniaturization technologies for the electronics industry and micro-optics technologies for the consumer optics industries. The Company licenses its chip packaging technology to its customers on a worldwide basis. These semiconductors are utilized in a range of electronics products, including digital audio players, digital cameras, personal computers, personal digital assistants (PDAs), video game consoles and mobile phones. In January 2008, the Company completed the acquisition of FotoNation. In February 2007, it completed the acquisition of Eyesquad GmbH.
