NHNY serves the metro area in cooperation with the Baptist Convention of New York and the Metropolitan New York Baptist Association. NHNY, BCNY, and MNYBA work together to plant churches, support existing churches and ministries, and develop new initiatives to share Gods love in Metro New York. Now that NHNY has completed its timeline as a strategic focus city, many of the ministry efforts set into motion by NHNY will continue under the leadership of MNYBA and BCNY.

The Metropolitan New York Baptist Association encompasses more than 250 churches in New York City's five boroughs, Long Island, Northern New Jersey, Southern Connecticut and the Lower Hudson Valley.
