Description
Crimeline partners with Ohio Attorney General's office to provide training to Ohio's law enforcement community. Crimeline and the Ohio Attorney General's office have signed an agreement that will benefit every officer in this populous midwest state. Crimeline's programs will be made available to all law enforcement officers through the Ohio Peace Officer Training Commission. Through this agreement, Ohio will automatically become a national leader in the fight against Identity Theft and Fraud.

Crimeline's unique online programs will give Ohio officers an edge in the battle against ID thieves and in the protection of Ohio's citizens. For the first time, Ohio's officers will have access to state of the art training that gives them essential tools to investigate and make arrests in fraud cases. Crimeline's courses are created by experts and veteran investigators. Their insights and experience will now be passed on to other police officers in Ohio through this new e-learning effort.

Crimeline was founded by Chuck Whitlock in 2004 and provides training courses through the internet making them accessible to officers on a large scale. The Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies. It is considered one of the best law enforcement training institutions in the nation.

It is administered by the Attorney General through the Ohio Peace Officer Training Commission, which represents Ohio's law enforcement community. The commission establishes uniform courses of training for law enforcement officers and private security throughout Ohio, and regulates the 550-hour basic training curriculum for prospective officers. This curriculum consists of more than 100 subjects ranging from criminal investigation to the use of firearms.
