Description
The Community Nutrition Group (CNG) is one of the largest specialist interest groups of the British Dietetic Association, made up of Dietitians working in the field of community nutrition and public health.
Community Dietetics is a dynamic, fast growing area of work. The role of Registered Dietitians working in the community is continuously evolving and adapting to meet new challenges. This has been demonstrated by the recent growth of dietitians working on community/public health initiatives.
CNG offers:
A forum for mutual support and networking amongst members working in the community.
An opportunity to develop further knowledge, skills and confidence required to work successfully in a community nutrition/public health setting. To represent the collective views of dietitians working in a community nutrition/public health setting both within and outside the NHS.
