PCT was first to gain acceptance for a best-in-class, digital splitter to better enable two-way communication over coaxial cable. PCT was first to introduce a "mini-fiber node" for deep fiber HFC applications. PCT was first to revolutionize compression connector design by introducing the DRS series compression connector, an all-metal, one-piece design.

PCT has become a market leader in each product segment it has explored in the past eight years. It continues to do so with two new initiatives designed to tackle commercial services over optics and the home/commercial structured wiring market.
