Heller Ehrman's Silicon Valley office, opened in 1983 and has represented some of the most successful start-up companies based in this world center of technology and venture capital. A significant portion of the practice in our Silicon Valley office relates to emerging and established high technology and life sciences companies. Many clients are leaders in the computer hardware and software industries, semiconductors, lasers, Internet products and services, telecommunications and specialized industrial products. Our extensive life sciences practice includes work for some of the industry's most prominent biotechnology and medical device companies. In 2003, Heller Ehrman merged with Venture Law Group, one of the preeminent emerging company law firms in the world.
